Event Description
Ready or not the civic economy is speeding up. Ideology is changing. Civic pride is erupting as social responsibility and accountability take a front seat along side economic values. Gaps are identified locally and globally, as attention turns to sustainability, and initiatives become home-made and home-grown.
To address the fundamental features of this expanding movement, speakers and civic entrepreneurs will gather to initiate dialogue on the major challenges and opportunities that the civic economy provides for societal and economic values.
The civic economy is already pushing boundaries to join government and private business as a societal and financial power. Let's get ready.
The conference is organised in cooperation with the Municipality of Amsterdam and Pakhuis de Zwijger. It will be held in Pakhuis de Zwijger, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
