The EU chemical industry has been clear: increasing energy efficiency in Europe is a great opportunity to help in the fight against climate change while building new markets for smarter, energy efficient products and materials developed by our innovative industry. Our companies are the main supplier of energy efficient raw materials for other industries, including lightweight materials for cars and insulation for the construction sector. Attendees can hear about SPICE3, a business platform for any company in Europe interested in practical support to increase their own energy efficiency and Marco Mensink, Cefic Director General will speak on how the EU chemical industry supports Europe’s energy efficiency goals.
