Building on 20 years of experience in delivering expert seminars on the post-legislative aspects of EU decision-making, the European Institute of Public Administration is now organising a one-day event in Brussels on delegated and implementing acts. It will provide an intensive briefing on the evolving practice, as well as a forum for discussion of latest developments.
Key topics
The state of play in implementing the rules on delegated and implementing acts:
• delineation between delegated and implementing acts in practice;
• Court rulings and pending cases;
• update on the alignment process;
• update on the implementation of the recess agreement.
Developments in practice
• internal procedures and inter-institutional arrangements;
• operational issues for participating in comitology committees and expert groups.
Learning methodology
The events consist of concise presentations by EIPA experts and contributions from EU officials directly responsible for handling delegated and implementing acts, followed by a discussion on practical examples and future perspectives.
