Event Description

Description:
When: 19th September 2012, 9:00 – 14:30. Including lunch.
Venue: International Press Centre, Brussels.

The last decade was characterised by the progressive development of renewable energy sources (RES) across European Union (EU) member states – total RES deployment increased by more than 40%. This successful deployment has raised questions about the most cost-effective way of promoting RES. The policy debate currently focuses mainly on how national support instruments for RES electricity should be improved and to what extent they should be coordinated or harmonised at a European level.

In this context, the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC) and Ecofys jointly invite you to a roundtable discussion on the future design of support systems.

We look forward to welcoming you to the workshop!
