On Tuesday, the 30th of October 2012, the Centre for European Studies (CES) will host an event titled ‘Green and Secure: How to tackle flexibility challenges in an integrated EU power market’. Please join us from 9:00 to 12:30 at the Thon Hotel Brussels for a discussion of the timeliest topics surrounding the European Commission’s upcoming Communication on internal energy markets. Mr Günther Oettinger, the European Commissioner for Energy, will deliver the keynote address.
The event will also feature panel discussions among leading experts and stakeholders who will focus on the renewables sector and the role of private investment, address the key issues of electricity systems stability, and the case for a European energy market in order to achieve more security and economies of scale.
