WHAT
The European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) will host a half-day conference in Brussels to present the main findings of the new report entitled “Connecting the Sun”. This report analyses future scenarios looking at how Europe’s electricity grid can integrate solar photovoltaics - which, under certain conditions, could cover up to 25% of EU’s electricity demands by 2030. Policy recommendations are also part of the report to be presented on 17 October. EPIA’s study was conducted in consultation with external analysts and experts from system operators from around Europe.
