Event Description
Brussels hosts more than 100.000 persons working in EU affairs. Less than 50% are based in the EU institutions, the other 50.000 persons have a job in industry federations, consultancies, media, corporate, nonprofit organizations, think tanks or region and city representations.
In order to know how to sell possible services to this market you need to know the “Brussels actors” and you need to know how you should present your profile to them. How to network in Brussels? Where are the budgets for your business? How to have commercial meetings in Brussels? How to present and follow up? How to maintain a good portfolio of clients?
Everything about making money in EU Brussels is now packed up in a new and unique training day!
The main presentation will be held by Dr. Dan LUCA, who will share with you his 15 years of experience working in the private sector of Brussels EU affairs. Dr. Luca is in permanent interaction with the 3.000 industry associations, 300 corporate, 400 consultancy companies, 300 region representations, 200 nonprofit organizations, and several universities offices.
The second part of the training will be presented by Maria LAPTEV, with more than 20 years experience as a Public Affairs Practitioner, Trainer, BusinessSchool and University Professor. Her presentation will focus on what you can do in Brussels to get yourself on track for earning a good living and enjoying your work. Beyond the do’s and don’ts, the course aims to give you ideas and food for thought, as well as inspire and motivate you to look for and find ways to make money in Brussels rather than simply look for and find a job.
After the success of the training “Finding a job in EU Affairs in Brussels” a new topic was launched: “How to make money in EU Affairs in Brussels?” and a first training was organised on Thursday, 25th of October 2012. Join us for the second session which will take place on Tuesday, 19th March 2013 in a venue close to Place Schuman (Brussels - European district).
In order to be accepted to this training, please send a short message with your motivation for wanting to take part in this training day and your CV to: info@dlinternational.be. The number of places is limited and the first applicants will have priority.
The participation fee for this training is 100 euros + VAT (21%).
