Lessons learned from the campaign
After 7 years, the Opening Doors for Europe’s Children campaign of which Eurochild is the coordinator, is coming to an end. The closing event will highlight the contributions and lessons learnt to child protection and care systems reform.
It will provide practical examples from Opening Door activities and results, and present recommendations for the future national policymaking and EU funds. The event will be a space for fruitful and proactive dialogue with key stakeholders, to reflect on how continue to strengthen families and end institutionalisation of children.
The campaign final report will also be presented at the event .

The event will be followed by celebration & networking cocktail

The campaign, a partnership between 5 international organisations and civil society organisations across 16 European countries, aimed to support national efforts to develop child protection systems that strengthen families and ensure high quality family and community-based alternative care for children.
