The 29th Annual Competition Policy Conference, flagship event of the Competition Policy Committee, will take place on Thursday 6 December 2012 from 9:15 until 17:00 at AmCham EU.
Following a keynote speech from Joaquin Almunia, Vice-President of the European Commission, panellists will debate cutting edge issues from recent merger cases, the impact of austerity on the EU's competition framework, and the interaction between competition law and intellectual property law.
Transatlantic and international relations will guide the discussions throughout the day, in particular with the lunch keynote speech of Rachel Brandenburger, Adviser on International Matters to the US Department of Justice. Those joining or speaking at the conference will be industry representatives, international competition enforcement officials and academics.
