On the 11th of October – the International Day of the Girl – politicians will host #Girl2Leader student delegates at campaign events around the world.
This year, host politicians are from Albania, Bolivia, Canada, Finland, Guinea, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Kenya, Latvia, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Romania, Rwanda, Sweden, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
In the European Parliament, #Girl2Leader student delegates will be hosted by MEP Clare Moody (S&D, UK), MEP Eva Maydell (EPP, Bulgaria), MEP Hilde Vautmans (ALDE, Belgium), MEP Inese Vaidere (EPP, Latvia), MEP Julie Ward (S&D, UK), MEP Linnéa Engström (Greens, Sweden), MEP Marian Harkin (ALDE, Ireland), and MEP Mirja Vehkaperä (ALDE, Finland). Speakers include VP Heidi Hautala (Greens, Finland), and VP Mairead McGuinness (EPP, Ireland).
