Event Description
The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) Party will hold its annual Congress at Sofitel Chain Bridge Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel in Budapest, Hungary on 19-21 November 2015.
Under the theme ‘’For Freedom’’, the Congress brings together more than 600 delegates, party leaders and decision-makers from our member parties across the European continent as well as partner associations and affiliated organisations, sponsors, invited guests and member of the press.
During the Congress, ALDE Party will elect a new President and five Vice-Presidents and a number of resolutions will be voted on.
A Press Conference will be held from 15:30 to 16:00 CET on Friday 20 November 2015 at the Theatre of the Sofitel Chain Bridge Hotel.
Media wishing to be accredited must register online as press at http://goo.gl/mTIutD. The deadline for registration is at 9:00 CET on Tuesday 17 November 2015. Access cannot be guaranteed for those applying after this deadline.
Journalists and crews must also carry a valid form of identification at all times while on site.

The ALDE Party offers the possibility of reimbursing travel expenses and hotel accommodation for a limited number of journalists.
