with Rapporteur Paul RÜBIG MEP and European Commission Vice-President Antonio TAJANI.

The European Parliament has set up a mist of measures and priorities in favour of SMEs, negotiated by Paul Rübig MEP, which will be formally adopted on Tuesday. The aim is to enhance competitiveness and business opportunities for SMEs both in the internal market and beyond. Mr Rübig will comment on the measures Parliament wants. The European Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship, Antonio Tajani, will explain how the European Commission will take Parliament's wishes into account.

Das Europäische Parlament hat eine Liste von Maßnahmen und Prioritäten erarbeitet, die am Dienstag formal beschlossen wird. Paul Rübig MEP hat diese Liste verhandelt. Ziel ist es, Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Geschäftsmöglichkeiten von KMU nicht nur innerhalb des EU-Binnenmarktes, sondern auch darüber hinaus zu verbessern. Rübig wird die Vorschläge des Parlaments erläutern. Industriekommissar Tajani wird erklären, wie die Europäische Kommission diese berücksichtigen wird.
