The European Kidney Health Alliance (EKHA) is organising its 2020 edition of the European Kidney Forum entitled: "A shared Vision for Improving Organ Donation and Transplantation in the EU beyond 2020".
This high-level policy meeting will be held under the sponsorship of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the EU and will aim to inform the subsequent Ministerial meeting of the Croatian Presidency in Zagreb.
The event will explore current challenges and barriers in the field of organ donation and transplantation, including how to better inform patients, optimise the organisation of national programmes, ensure sustainable funding, tackle inequalities and increase the availability and quality of data. The meeting will gather EU and national policy-makers, National Competent Authorities for organ donation and transplantation, medical societies as well as patient and health organisations.
