Event Description
European Young Innovators Forum is running or shall we say rocking (?) its annual pitching competition InnoPitch , which is most definitely something you want to learn about!
We really just wanted to share this great news with you and invite you to share it with your network, on your blog/facebook/twitter, with your family and whoever else you think would benefit from applying.
InnoPitch, which will select and award the European Young Innovator of the Year, is hosted in the European Parliament in Brussels on 6 and 7 June, centre- stage at the Young Innovators Unconvention, our annual unconference organised for young innovators and actors supporting youth entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe.
InnoPitch offers all young Europeans to present their startups to a well established judging panel composed of Carlos Eduardo ESPINAL from Seedcamp, Anne GLOVER from Amadeus Capital and Matthias UMMENHOFER from European Investment Fund. Startups and individuals with innovative ideas need to apply online with their video pitch before 18th May 2013. The 6 best ones will be invited to come to Brussels on 6 and 7 June where they will participate in a one-to-one feedback session with Carlos Espinal and they will pitch their ideas live in front of the above mentioned judging panel and the entire Unconvention audience including investors, industry experts, policy makers, thought leaders, journalists and young innovators. European Young Innovators Forum will pay for the accommodation expenses and the finalists will also receive free VIP passes to the Unconvention.
The Unconvention features speakers of the following caliber: Derek HOLT, MD Startup America Partnership, Harri KOPONEN, COO Rovio, Neelie KROES, Vice-President of the European Commission, Jack LANG, Co-Founder of Raspberry Pi, Jan MUELHFEIT, Chairman Europe Microsoft, Martin SCHULZ, President of the European Parliament, Harry Van DORENMALEN, Chairman IBM Europe and many others (extensive list is available here).
If you think this sounds like a deal please share this post with your network. EYIF’s aim is to support and encourage the entrepreneurial ecosystem building in Europe and we thank you for helping us to achieve this goal.
