Event Description
China has become the biggest emitter of CO2 and the largest coal consumer in the world. India is planning to build up to 370 new coal-fired power plants. And although Pakistan is only responsible for less than 1 percent of total global carbon emissions, they are increasing rapidly at a rate of 3.9 percent per year. Against this background, there is a growing recognition that big, populous countries like China, India and Pakistan need to shift from dirty energy options to new clean energy sources in order to effectively mitigate the effects of climate change.
We would like to invite you to a panel discussion with energy experts from those three countries on perspectives for a shift to renewables.
Please save the date. We will send you an official invitation in the coming weeks.
Admission free
The evening will be held in english.
