The Marnix plan for a truly multilingual capital for the European Union
A bottom-up collective effort to promote the learning of several languages among all layers of the Brussels' population
Inaugural event : Saturday 28th September 2013
Zinneke room of the Brussels Information Point (10-11 Place royale)
Registration is free of charge but obligatory, and places are limited:
Programme
- 10h-11h30: Opening plenary session
- 11h30-12h30: Parallel sessions (Subtitling/ Internet language courses/ Conversation tables)
- 13h30-15h: Testimonies and debates on the necessity and possibility of multilingualism for all
- 15h-16h: Political panel with Rudi Vervoort, Guy Vanhengel, Marie-Martine Schyns and Pascal Smet
- 16h30-18h: Plans for the future
