The New World Order - What do China and Russia want? - 4 April 2022. Joint GPF and S&D online debate
Section
Event Location
Event Description
On Monday 4 April, we’ll join S&D MEPs Andreas SCHIEDER and Marek BELKA and the #GPF for an online debate on The New World Order.
Russia currently aims to re-establish the rule of force as the organising principle of the international community. This is the exact opposite of the kind of international order that we, as progressive Europeans, would like to see. Our political goal is a strong and effective EU as an actor for peace, democracy and human rights on the international stage, where interactions must exclusively be based on international law.
