European Alternatives would like to invite you to attend two key events within the Citizens Pact, a bottom-up democratic process rooted in some 3-year-long 60 consultations with citizens around Europe. The Manifesto, an interim embodiment of the civil demands, is being presented to MEPs in Brussels on 03 December at 18.00 o'clock CET by key activists in the process and concrete pledges from the European Parliament are going to be demanded by the European citizens. On the MEPs side, respondents include, among others, Rui Tavares (Greens / European Free Alliance), vice-chair of the Special Committee on Organised Crime, Corruption and Money Laundering and member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) and Sergio Gaetano Cofferati (Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament), vice-chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and ex General Secretary of the Italian trade union CGL.
