Event Description
As a foundational element guiding the funding and delivery of humanitarian action, humanitarian principles require continuous safe-guarding. To promote discussion of the challenges to this and ways to address them, NRC, with support from the European Commission’s department of Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will host a one-day conference for representatives of the humanitarian community and officials from the EU, Member States, and third countries.
The conference will take place on 4 December 2012 at The Square in Brussels and follows a series of preparatory roundtables.
