This seminar will provide you with an update on the legal issues in European public procurement. Legal experts and practitioners will explain in an accessible manner the recent legal developments and recent case law in the field of European public procurement.
The first part of the seminar will concentrate on recent developments in public procurement at European level and the second part will be devoted to recent case law.
You will receive an insight into the recent jurisprudence of the General Court. This case law relates to challenges to contract awards by the EU institutions/agencies/bodies and is based on procurement under the Financial Regulation. Special attention will be given to the recent case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) in the field of procurement. In addition, the essence of the remedies directives and the related case law will be presented and interpreted for you.

The seminar is intended for those who deal with procurement in the legal profession (lawyers, judges etc.), as public officials from national, and sub-national authorities and other public bodies in EU Member States and candidate countries and in European institutions, agencies and bodies.
