Event Description

This tutorial is an advanced version of our seminar “EU law for non-lawyers” and it is addressed to the participants who either attended EIPA seminars or have a good level of knowledge of the EU legal system. You will learn about selected aspects of EU administrative law and the application of this segment of law to the EU institutions and other EU bodies (including agencies). During this tutorial you will also deepen your understanding of different do’s and don’ts during the EU decision-making process. The programme of the tutorial will also include some elements of internal market law and you will receive an update of the most recent case law in this area.

If you participate in the EU law-making or EU law approximation process, you will benefit from practical information and examples of how to play an active role in these processes vis-à-vis EU institutions. There will be a limit on the number of participants to allow for a high level of interactivity. The tutorial is practice-based and includes group discussions and problem-solving sessions.

The tutorial is addressed to non-lawyers but participants with legal background, who wish to refresh their knowledge, will also benefit from it.
