Responsible Recruitment and Production

Responsible recruitment is a key component of amfori’s social compliance work. We offer a dedicated module on this subject on amfori BSCI under the scope of the UN Sustainable Development Goals 8, 12 and 17. Responsible recruitment is not only for the protection of workers’ rights but also to ensure that practices are carried out ethically throughout all supply chains. This includes the protection of vulnerable migrant workers, workforce integration and the possibility of remediation.

This session will be an opportunity to discuss the latest and upcoming trends affecting migration patterns. Companies need to take migration patterns into account to ensure that vulnerable migrants are not exploited. This is best done by working collaboratively with local bodies, agencies and NGOs. The session will also reflect on remediation mechanisms and how to continuously improve them.
