The Energy Storage Coalition will host our annual event on 14 October 2024 in Brussels.

Titled, What’s next? Energy Storage and renewables in the New Political Landscape the events will be a platform for policymakers and industry representatives to discuss the future of energy storage in the European Union now that a new legislative term has started. And, of course, we will celebrate the achievements of the Energy Storage Coalition.

Five years in, the European Green Deal remains the EU’s flagship project aiming to decarbonise the economy and spur economic growth. Regrettably, the EU is in a completely different financial and geopolitical position compared to 2019 while its track record on climate and energy is far from convincing. We already see clear signals that the current framework is neither generating “green growth” nor putting the continent on a fast-track towards net zero.
