The EUROBAT Forum will take place in Brussels, Belgium this year. Similar to previous years, EUROBAT membership will have a series of internal meetings on 4 and 5 June. The EUROBAT Forum on Friday 6 June, will be an excellent opportunity for the Battery industry, represented in EUROBAT, to get together with Brussels' based stakeholders and decision-makers on the various issues impacting the sector (see session topics below).   

VENUE

The financial and economic crisis hit Europe with full force at the end of the last decade. Overcoming this crisis is  one  of  the  biggest  challenges  the European Union has faced since its establishment.  Although there are signs of improvement visible in many areas, including economic growth and financial stabilisation, some of  the  effects  of  the  recession  – especially  the  high rates of unemployment  –  present a serious  political  and  social problem in Europe.

This interactive European Workshop for Teachers, School Authorities and Policy Makers focuses the potentials and needs for school modernization. Innovative approaches can address the societal and global challenges and will be presented and discussed. Leading experts and practitioners will debate with the audience the question how Opening Up Education In Schools can work and facilitate new ways of teaching and learning. The workshop consists of two session: First, a theoretical session in the morning and second, a hands-on session in the afternoon.
