A free webinar to explore the potential of Waste-to-Energy in hydrogen generation will take place on Thursday, 27 May, organised by CEWEP and ESWET in the framework of the EU Green Week.
Hydrogen is expected to become one of the EU’s Green Recovery drivers in the following years. Fuel cells offer a range of potential applications, including in hard-to-decarbonise sectors such as road transport.
Recovering energy from non-recyclable waste, Waste-to-Energy plants are at the frontline of these innovative developments working on projects aiming to produce hydrogen used in heavy urban transport, like city buses and waste collection vehicles.
The event, organised in the EU Green Week’s partner events framework, will discuss the surprising synergies brought about by these waste-to-wheels solutions and the possibilities for future sector coupling.
Join us on Thursday 27 May 2021, from 11.00 to 12.30, to discuss the future of Waste-to-Energy and hydrogen generation!
