10-10 webinar: Risk assessment in standards: a tool for harmonisation
Date
08 Nov 2019 10:00
Event Location
Online
Event Description
A correct identification of the relationship between Essential Requirements in legislation and the clauses of standards is a pre-condition for the acceptance of harmonised standards (hEN) by the European Commission.
This relationship is captured in the so called ‘informative annexes ZA/ZZ’ of CEN and CENELEC hEN. A correctly applied ‘risk assessment’ can help defining the relationship and support drafting of Annex ZA/ZZ.
