Madrid (EuroEFE).- The “Fundación Asia-Europ” (Asia-Europe Foundation, ASEF) has opened a call for applications to participate in the twelfth edition of its seminar for young journalists to be held in Madrid from December 13 to 14, in parallel to the planned ministerial summit between the two regions.
The ASEF seminar, organized in collaboration with Casa Asia, will be held at the headquarters of EFE news Agency, EURACTIV’s partner, and this new edition will have as main theme: "Trust in the media and Information in the Digital Age".
According to ASEF, based in Singapore, young journalists and media professionals, under 35 years of age and who are citizens of any of the member countries of the Asia-Europe (ASEM) forum, can submit their candidacy.
The countries of the European Union (EU) plus Russia, Norway and Switzerland, and twenty-one Asians, including China, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan and Australia, are part of ASEM. The call was announced on August 15 and will be open until 02.00 GMT on Monday, September 16.
