Event Description

Join the Consumer Choice Center for a live discussion on beating cancer in the EU by endorsing vaping.

CCC European Affairs Associate Maria Chaplia will interview Michael Landl, director of the World Vapers’ Alliance, about the EU Beating Cancer plan and the mission of the World Vapers’ Alliance.

“The upcoming European Union's Beating Cancer Plan is a historical chance for the improvement of public health in Europe. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the EU. A comprehensive approach needs to include prevention and harm reduction. Including vaping in the EU Beating Cancer Plan would help millions of European who are struggling to quit smoking and consequently preventing many deaths associated with cancer from smoking.

The World Vapers’ Alliance, which I’m honoured to be the director of, amplifies the voice of passionate vapers around the world and empowers them to make a difference for their communities. We now have a thriving partnership of 18 associations from around the world, representing thousands of vapers all over the globe, and I look forward to elaborating further on our agenda during the CCC webinar,” said Michael Landl.
