Event Description
Join us at CEWEP’s 8th Waste-to-Energy Congress on 16-17 June 2016 in Rotterdam
There is an obvious link between the important EU initiatives on the Circular Economy and Energy Union. This link is Waste-to-Energy. Therefore, in 2016 the European Commission will deliver a communication paper that exploits the potential of Waste-to-Energy by establishing synergies between resource efficiency, energy efficiency, circular economy and climate change.
Come and hear first-hand what representatives of the EU Institutions, decision makers and the industry have to say. The Congress will serve as an exceptional opportunity to have timely discussions on the latest policy developments and to hear all the news about Waste-to-Energy techniques and developments.
Participants will also see how the heat from Rotterdam’s Waste-to-Energy plant contributes to the city’s ambitious green initiatives – a good practice example of how Waste-to-Energy is part of the transition to the circular economy and green energy society.
(Deadline 13th May 2016)
