Event Description

Earlier this year the GSMA launched the Data Value Chain report. The report shines a light on the data value chain in terms of its activities and business models. In addition, it highlights how the key driver of growth in the data economy could create potential policy issues in respect to both competition and innovation.
Further to its launch, the GSMA is organising a workshop, bringing together stakeholders from the mobile ecosystem, the European institutions and the GSMA to explore issues from a European policy perspective, including: How do you continue to create value in a data driven economy? What are the market issues? What are the policy implications? and, How does the consumer fit within the wider picture?
