Event Description
On 14 October 2021, 10:00-11:30 (CET), MEP Dolors Montserrat will host a webinar to mark EU Flu Day 2021 and discuss the various challenges faced by EU and national health authorities in view of the COVID-19 pandemic’s spill-over effect on routine vaccination such as influenza.
As societies open up again after the COVID-19 pandemic, the risk of a severe flu season is high. Flu vaccination campaigns shall be strengthened in order to protect populations across the EU, especially vulnerable ones.
The webinar, entitled "One voice to protect populations from flu in the age of COVID-19", is being organised by the Steering Group on Influenza Vaccination.
Formal invitation to follow.
