The world is undergoing a profound, multidimensional transformation. Clean, digital and ethical are some of the key words driving reforms in all areas of our lives and posing entirely new challenges for political decision-makers. What is Europe’s place in this process?
Europe has everything it needs to become a true leader of this global transformation. Once again, all debates during the Summit will benefit from the expertise of our world-class speakers, including EU Commissioners, Director-Generals, C-suite business representatives and academic researchers.
For EBS 16 th edition, the Summit will focus on the following themes:
- Trade opportunities in an uncertain environment
How can the EU open up to new markets (Vietnam, Japan, Australia, New-Zealand, Mercosur, China, India) while safeguarding its standards and the interests of its citizens? - Europe as a global economic leader
How can industry be part of the solution by promoting clean and inclusive growth, contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals or strengthen the position of gender equality in business? - EU governance & leadership in a changing world
How can Europe be competitive and innovative whilst positioning itself as a digital global norm setter? How to transform Europe’s economy in the age of digitalisation?
Join the debate and shape Europe’s future global role! www.ebsummit.eu
