Fiscal Compact: GUE/NGL calls for review by ECJ
Is the fiscal compact compatible with European law? In an opinion requested by the GUE/NGL on this issue, German legal expert Professor Andreas Fischer-Lescano (Centre of European Law and Politics, University of Bremen) says it is incompatible and proposes referring it to the ECJ.

Pacte budgétaire: le groupe GUE/NGL appelle à une révision par la Cour de justice européenne
Le pacte budgétaire est-il compatible avec le droit communautaire? Dans un avis à ce sujet élaboré à la demande du groupe GUE/NGL, l'expert juridique allemand, le professeur Andreas Fischer-Lescano (Centre du droit et de la politique européenne, université de Brême), a déclaré que le pacte est incompatible et propose de le renvoyer devant la Cour de justice européenne.
