SUMMARY
WHY?
Ensuring the functional safety and security of processes, systems and data is a critical success factor for digital transformation in all industry sectors.
Alongside safeguarding functional reliability and robustness of production systems, industry is also facing challenges from non-functional properties including information and data security.
European industry stakeholders are facing real issues to safeguard the integrity and functional safety of their activities, including:
- proliferation of different national market conditions;
- bewildering choice of competitive cyber solutions;
- selecting optimum standardization solutions for their specific needs, including international options.
Additionally, in future industry will have to comply with the new European policy framework including the Directive on Security of Network and Information Systems (NIS Directive) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
WHAT?
Join our industry stakeholder workshop to launch a dialogue and to better understand industry's standardization needs to ensure the continuity of their operation through prevention, protection and response measures from the organization, process and technology levels.
Your input will shape the CEN and CENELEC standardization roadmap for cybersecurity for the advanced manufacturing and smart energy sectors.
WHO?
The workshop intends to gather advanced manufacturers, IT providers, professionals in the smart energy, policy representatives and standardizers.
