The Global Editors Network’s annual GEN Summit is the world’s largest gathering of 750+ editors-in-chief and media innovators from over 70 countries. We’re entering our seventh year, which will take place 21-23 June 2017 in Vienna, Austria. This year’s focus is on From post-truth to virtual reality: navigating media’s future.
The GEN Summit is an exceptional opportunity to discuss the sustainability of our industry, and collectively work toward defining the future of journalism. You will discover all there is to know about the leading trends in media, and network with the best and brightest minds in the industry.

Our speakers represent the most innovative minds in media today. News organisations of all sizes, and across all platforms, share their insights and best practices with GEN Summit participants. Martin Baron, Executive Editor of The Washington Post, will kick-start the GEN Summit 2017 as the first keynote speaker of the three day event.
