PlasticsEurope will host a high level information day on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), as part of the European Commission’s Energy Days organised across Europe during the EU Sustainable Energy Week (23-27 June).
This one-day session will focus on best practices and present pilot programmes currently run by the Volkswagen AG, by a retailer, by PlasticsEurope and two of its LCA partners (DEKRA and denkstatt).
Participants will be presented with an overview of the European Commission’s Environmental Footprint followed by an early feedback by some industry sectors which are engaged in EF pilot programmes: detergents, water supply pipes, paints and steel industry.
