Event Description
On behalf of Reinhard Bütikofer MEP (Greens/EFA) and rapporteur on industrial policy for the European Parliament's ITRE Committee, I would like to invite you to a press breakfast.
When: Wednesday, 26 June, 8.30 - 9.30 a.m.
Where: MEPs' restaurant, ASP-building, European Parliament, Brussels
Reinhard Bütikofer MEP will present his draft report on European industrial policy and, in particular, will make proposals that are more ambitious than those in the European Commission's Industrial Policy Communication from October 2012.
The draft report focuses on principles and goals for a 'Renaissance of Industry for a Sustainable Europe' (RISE), an innovation strategy, completing the internal market and opening external markets, financing an industrial turnaround, skills development, a resource and energy transition, and a strategy for a RISE in the southern EU Member States.
