About
EBF2020 will be a virtual experience all wrapped up in a unique and engaging agenda. The conference will take place over the course of three consecutive mornings from the 18th-20th November.
Over the next two years, key EU legislations are expected to be actioned and as a result many factors will start to impact the bioenergy sector and lead it into a new transition phase.
With over fifteen high profiled speakers now confirmed from policy makers, senior private sector executives, academics and other civil society partners from the EU and beyond, we are set to discuss the key features of a successful energy transition - assessing both the challenges and opportunities presented by the current political and economic context. We have created a diverse and unique agenda that aims to provide you with a clear and strategic insight into the sector’s future developments and with this EBF is set to be one of the leading bioenergy events of the year.
What can you expect?
- Live virtual expert panel featuring Director General for Energy at the European Commission, Ditte Juul Jørgensen, along with other key sector representatives.
- Tailored selection of keynote speeches including the Green Deal, Bioeconomy, Financing the transition, sustainable forest management, biodiversity.
- Presentations from leading representatives such as the European Institutes, European Forest Institute (EFI), European Investment Bank, IINAS, HOFOR, SEKAB, Ökofen plus more.
