Youth Perspectives on a Healthy Community - Event of the Week
Section
Event Description
Globally many countries, cities and programmes are working to create a healthy future for our young people by reshaping the environment. But who is this youth anyway? What is on the mind of our children and young people, how important is a healthy lifestyle to them, and how can we best communicate and engage them in solutions for a healthier environment.
In this online event, we will be joined by our young speakers and experts, all an example for their communities, who will share their perspectives with you:
- Claudia Batz, Policy & projects coordinator at the World Obesity Federation (United Kingdom)
- Sarah Hickey, Programme Director at Impact on Urban Health (United Kingdom)
- Pedro Gonçalves, Member of the Co-Create Youth Declaration Task Force and the Co-Create Local Youth (Portugal)
- Dev Sharma, Bite Back 2030 Youth Board Member (United Kingdom)
- Yasmina Sina, Favela Street Foundation Young Ambassador (The Netherlands)
The registration is free of cost, but places are limited. Join our webinar on Thursday 1 July 2021 (13.30 to 14.30 CEST) to voice out your opinion and connect with our network. Register here.
