This Friday 28 May (14:30-16:00), SGI Europe and the Employers Group of the European Economic and Social Committee are organising a joint event “The EU Green Deal: From Vision to Action”.

The event will be an opportunity to take stock of the implementation of the EU Green Deal, and assess how the COVID-19 pandemic could impact the process. A specific focus will be put on the financing dimension and the ongoing work to set up a dedicated EU taxonomy to better channel funding to sustainable activities.

Amongst others, speakers will include Nathan Fabian, chair of the European Commission Expert Group Platform for Sustainable Finances, Stefano Mallia, President of the EESC Employers Group, Valeria Ronzitti, General Secretary of SGI Europe, Filippo Brandolini, Vice-President of SGI Europe, and Jean-Eudes Moncomble, chair of SGI Europe Sustainability Board.
