The European medical on-call service number 116 117 was fi rst introduced in Germany in 2012. To date more
than three million patients have benefi ted from its non-emergency medical assistance service. First steps
have been taken in several countries to establish a European number for harmonized services of social value.
The German Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians cordially invites you to join us for a
workshop with experts from Austria, Estonia, Sweden and Germany. We would like to provide you with our
key fi ndings following the implementation of 116 117 in Germany and to discuss best practice and future
challenges with you.
The event will be held under the auspices of MEP Norbert Glante and will be followed by a reception at
