Location: Council of the European Union, Luxembourg
The Environment council brings together the Ministers responsible for matters specifically relating to the environment four times a year. The Environment Council aims at protecting and improving the quality of the environment and of the human health and contributes to the fight against environmental problems. Τhe Environment Council also deals with international environmental issues and adopts conclusions on the positions the EU takes at international conferences.

Members of the judiciary, lawyers, civil servants and members of the public administrations as well as private sector actors with an interest in EU environmental law. A legal background is not necessary to attend the course.
