Event Description

Changing lives by socialising? Your presence at this year’s European Equality Gala will allow us to continue supporting courageous activists over the next year.

29 June 2016 - Albert Hall, Brussels – from 7pm

ILGA-Europe want to see you at the second European Equality Gala, the main fundraising event for the LGBTI movement in Europe.

This unique evening of activism, politics and entertainment is ILGA-Europe’s only fundraising event. This is your chance to act.

When you buy a ticket or donate any amount to ILGA-Europe, you are making sure that ILGA-Europe can give LGBTI activists the tools and support they need to survive, thrive and grow.

So, if you have ever watched your Twitter feed fill up with anti-equality sentiment and wondered where to start to combat this. If you have wished that Europe’s political leaders talked more about human rights and protecting people’s dignity, not just economic imperatives. If you have wanted to reach out to the LGBTI community in the rest of Europe but haven’t been quite sure how – then please join us at the European Equality Gala.

Ticket sales will open on 19 May.

If you missed last year’s European Equality Gala, we promise you a fantastic party that will be thought-provoking as well as entertaining! This video from the 2015 Gala will give you a taste of what to expect…
