Event Description
5G is here. How will the 5G ecosystem ensure that next generation networks have effective security against next generation threats? 5G will support a huge number of connected devices, enable lower latencies, increased bandwidth and bring about the development of new innovative digital services. 5G promises to create a next generation threat landscape that currently the mobile industry does not fully understand.
Security cannot be successfully implemented in retrospect; it must be built into the DNA of the 5G network as it is designed. In order for this to happen, active dialogue and collaboration is required between the security community and all other stakeholders in the 5G ecosystem. Mobile 360 – Security for 5G provides a platform for this dialogue by convening the mobile ecosystem to design the roadmap for securing the 5G network. The event examines how the network is evolving and the key threats exposed by the new features and services enabled by next generation connectivity.
Through a series of thought-provoking keynotes and in-depth focussed workshops, Mobile 360 – Security for 5G unpacks the challenges the industry faces as the network evolves, and shines a light on the innovation and initiatives in place to secure the networks of tomorrow.
