We have the pleasure to invite you to the 2021 virtual edition of InnoGrid, organised by the European Distribution System Operators’ Association (E.DSO) and the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) on Friday, 4 June and Friday, 11 June.

InnoGrid has been the annual appointment on European innovation in power networks for a decade now. For its 10th edition - ‘Living the transition’ – InnoGrid will highlight the paramount role of networks in the energy transition and how they are enabling it today. It will also allow the audience to learn more about leading EU funded R&D projects that contribute to the transition by developing innovative solutions to renewables’ integration, digitalisation, flexibility and new market opportunities.

In view of the sanitary situation, InnoGrid will be organised again this year around virtual discussions with experts from transmission and distribution system operators, EU officials, academics, representatives of civil society and the industry.

On 4 June, we will debate how to incentivise innovation, how flexibility markets act as vehicles for renewables integration and how innovation supports energy system integration; with a focus on electromobility.

On 11 June, “Beyond sandboxes”, a selection of EU funded projects will showcase how they can accelerate the transition.
