Event Description

We are pleased to invite you to the official launch of the report “Biogases: Europe’s overlooked path to energy independence? Reassessing sustainable production potential”, which will take place on 22 April 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the European Parliament (room 3G2) in Brussels.
This event, hosted by MEP Annalisa Corrado in cooperation with the European Biogas Association (EBA), will present the key findings of a new study carried out by Guidehouse. The report provides an updated assessment of Europe’s sustainable biogases production potential, including revised projections for 2030, 2040, and 2050, based on the latest available data.
The event will bring together Members of the European Parliament, representatives from the European Commission, national attachés, industry leaders, academics, and key stakeholders from across Europe, alongside representatives of civil society and the press.
It will provide a platform for an open and constructive exchange on the role of biogases in strengthening Europe’s energy security and sustainability.
We are looking forward to welcoming you for a fruitful discussion!
