Building the European Health Union together - for better public health in Europe
Section
Event Description
The European Health Union (EHU) package proposed by the European Commission has the potential to underpin a joint effort to safeguard and reinforce Europe’s leading role in immunisation, by protecting the EU’s population from the infectious diseases of today and tomorrow. Undeniably, to ensure that this reform reaches its full potential, intensified collaboration between key stakeholders will be vital.
On 8 September 2021, from 14:00 to 15:00 (CET), Vaccines Europe will host a virtual event bringing together representatives from EU and national institutions and agencies, civil society and industry, to discuss how to strengthen Europe’s leading role in public health and crisis preparedness, leveraging the implementation of the European Health Union.
