Background
The .eu Web Awards were first launched in 2014. The initiative takes the form of an online competition where .eu domain name holders get the opportunity to submit their websites for a chance to win a prestigious award and media package presented to them at a subsequent award ceremony.
The outcome?
The event will choose one winner for each of the following five categories: The Leaders; The Rising Stars; The Laurels; The House of .eu; The Better World.
The five winning websites will receive a Google AdWord package worth EUR 5 000. The package should be used to promote the winning .eu website, and will be designed, developed and approved in close cooperation with EURid staff.
