Guest Speaker: Bart Weetjens, founder of APOPO, who will show us how the association’s HeroRATs, working together with their human colleagues, help save lives and limbs in developing countries by using their exceptional sense of smell to sniff out unexploded landmines and tuberculosis.
European Pet Night 2013 will also feature a supporting speaker from, ACTIV’ DOG to highlight the therapeutic benefits of pets with the elderly in line with the European Initiative on Active and Healthy Ageing.
