The Brussels community is invited to welcome a new initiative to uphold freedom of speech around the world – Free Press Forum.
On Tuesday, 10 September, Free Press Forum will host its inaugural event to discuss the state and future of freedom of expression in the EU. Titled “FreePressForumEU: Discussions about the freedom of expression in the EU”, the event will host key experts in the field commenting on the latest policy developments that impact citizen’s right to freedom of expression—Digital Services Act and European Media Freedom Act—and how both can safeguard and limit our right to freedom of expression.
